Random Spring Fun

The past few weeks we have been all over the place. We have been to GA twice. Then I had a work trip to Boston.  And in between that time was Easter and our Mudbug Murder Fest. Needless to say we have been busy. So here are some snaps of us out and about.

Triple glasses-

Single glass

My new assistant. Sorry if you can't understand him. As long as you want to talk about cars, trucks, and things that go fast- you should be good to go. (really I should fire him, but he's so cute)

We painted and decorated our bedroom. Looks good! I am so happy with the results. We plan to get a new bedspread... our theme is the gray, brown, and turquoise- so maybe something that brings that all together.

Visit with Gigi and Aunt Cyd

Our 1st Round Rock Express baseball game of the season!

Green Machine

I did it! I have been thinking about it. Reading about it. and just too scared to try it.

Finally I built up the nerve- I mean- what's the worst that could happen? I throw it out, right?

Here it is

Looks gross. Slimy right?

Better with the logo? Go horns!
But you know what? I couldn't tell ANY difference. Did you know the added benefits of spinach?? vitamins, antioxidants, anti- anti- inflammatory, help prevent certain cancers, fiber, blood pressure, vision, immunity, skin, bones, clarification, and helps with brain and nervous functions.

So now the question is Why NOT add it? You should. Give it a try.

Have you discovered PB2 yet?

It's only the best thing ever! It's a powdered all natural peanut butter- and get this....

with 85% LESS fat calories!!! they even make a chocolate flavored peanut butter- what?? I haven't tried it yet- but it is on my list.

So I make my shakes with protein powder, 1/2 a banana, 1 cup of chopped spinach, and 2 tbsp of PB2, add ice and water and blend.

There are TONS of green smoothie recipes out there. I plan to try some more of them. I may even get up the nerve to add more veggies

one step at at time.

Robots?

For some reason lately- when we are getting ready to go to bed- K will say "Mommy the robots gonna gechyou?"

And of course- I will say "No baby- no robots going to get you."

"Mommy the robots gonna getme?"

hmmmm.....

Where are these robots coming from? I am so glad that he isn't asking about something scarier- because then it would probably freak me out.

So last night- we read our books and go to sleep. I don't know what time it was when K woke up and Dad grabbed him and put him in bed with us- but sometime in the night he wakes up with a scream.

(bad dream about robots?)

He crawls up on my chest- knees poking in my chest and buries his head up in my neck- And for whatever reason it seemed like he was scared to touch the sheets.

needless to say- I didn't get a very good night's sleep.
